Safe working load	Maximum load to be lifted, plus any auxiliary hoist requirement
Span	Centre-to-centre distance between runway rails
Lifting height	Floor to hook at highest position
Long travel length	Length of the runway / bay
Duty / usage	Lifts per hour, hours per day, typical load vs. maximum
Environment	Indoor/outdoor, temperature, dust, corrosive or hazardous areas
Building	New or existing shed; drawings of columns and roof if available
Controls	Pendant, radio remote or cabin; speed requirements
Power supply	Voltage, phase and frequency available at site
