What is a goliath & gantry crane?
Goliath and gantry cranes run on rails at floor level, with legs supporting the bridge. They are used where an overhead runway is not available or practical — in open stockyards, casting yards, precast plants and in buildings not designed for crane loads.
LiftoMech supplies full gantry, semi-gantry and cantilever configurations in single and double girder designs, engineered for wind, site conditions and the loads being handled.
