What is a double girder EOT crane?
A double girder EOT crane uses two bridge girders with a crab (trolley) running on rails on top of the girders. This arrangement supports higher capacities, longer spans and heavier duty cycles, and provides greater hook height than a single girder crane.
LiftoMech double girder cranes are built for continuous production environments — steel, heavy engineering, power and infrastructure — and are available up to 75 tonnes, 35 m span and M7 duty class.

Designed for safe, reliable lifting
Higher capacity
Configurations up to 75 t safe working load.
Long spans
Box girder designs up to 35 m span.
Heavy duty cycles
Mechanisms selected for duty classes up to M7.
Maximum hook height
Crab on top of girders gives better use of building height.
Auxiliary hoist option
Main and auxiliary hoists (e.g. 7.5/5 t) on one crab.
Maintenance access
Walkways and platforms on the bridge for safe servicing.
Configured around your requirement
Every crane is engineered to order. These are the main choices we work through with you.
Crab / trolley
Open winch crab or double girder hoist trolley, with optional auxiliary hoist.
Girder design
Fabricated box girders designed for deflection limits and fatigue.
Drives
Slip-ring or squirrel cage motors with VFD control for all motions.
Operation
Pendant, radio remote, or operator cabin with ergonomic controls.
